Program Overview:

The CDM Program is managed within the DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, CISA/Office of Cybersecurity and Communications (CS&C)/Network Security Deployment (NSD) Division, responsible for enhancing the security, resilience, and reliability of the Nation’s cyber and communications infrastructure. The DHS CDM Program mission is to safeguard and secure cyberspace in an environment where the threat of cyber-attack is continuously growing and evolving. The CDM Program defends the United States (U.S.) Federal Information Technology (IT) networks from cybersecurity threats by providing continuous monitoring sensors (tools), diagnosis, mitigation tools, and associated services to strengthen the security posture of Government networks.

What You’ll Get to Do:

Configure, implement, maintain, and operate Azure services.
Configure, implement, maintain, and operate Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender XDR for protecting enterprise resources and identities.
Configure, implement, maintain, and operate DLP control policies to protect data in enterprise environment.
Document and train junior members who are interested in pursuing cloud security.
Perform security control implementation and testing efforts.
Perform vulnerability-level risk assessment.
Assist in the mitigation and closure of open vulnerabilities under the system's change control process.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Relevant Years of Experience: 7+
Education: BA/BS or equivalent years of relevant experience
Certifications: IASAE II or industry standards (AWS, Azure, etc.)
Qualifications, Skills, & Expertise:
Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender XDR.
Experience and proficiency in KQL (Kusto Query Language).
Knowledge of ingesting logs into Microsoft Sentinel and logging architecture.
Knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR (Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for O365)
Knowledge of Microsoft Purview.
Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
Experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions.
Experience with cybersecurity system reviews for system(s) residing within major Cloud Service Provider (CSP) infrastructure.
