SANS (same 'SANS' as the one behind the 'SANS Internet Storm Center' ;-) ) today announced the "SANS Software Security Institute". The idea behind the "SANS-SSI" is to offer a number of different assessment tests. Programmers can take these tests to identify skill gaps. Tests will be offered for various languages.
